  • West Nickel Mines Amish School Shootings (5 students killed and 5 wounded, in Amish school, West Nickel Mines, PA, 2 Oct 2006.)
    • Provided full-day training to over 100 attendees, including: most of the incident first responders (medical and law enforcement), Amish school representatives, and the parents of the victims, 8 Oct 2007.
  • Virginia Tech College Shootings (32 killed, 23 wounded or injured at Virginia Tech, 16 April 2007.)
    • Privided training and debrief to the responding SWAT team, 28 Jun 2007.
    • Provided training on-site to over 100 attendees, including students, staff, and incident responders (law enforcement and medical), 8 Feb 2008.
  • Civic and emergency personnel trainer, Littleton, CO, 12-13 June 1999.
    • Littleton School Shootings (12 students and 1 teacher killed at Columbine High School, Littleton, CO, 20 April 1999.)
  • Civic and law enforcement trainer, Springfield and Eugene, OR, 12-13 Oct 1998.
    • Springfield School Shootings (24 students shot, 2 killed at Thurston High School, Springfield, OR, 21 May 1998.)
  • Assisted in leadership, planning, and coordination at Westside Middle School, starting from the day of the shootings.
    • Jonesboro School Shootings (15 students and teachers shot, 5 killed at Westside Middle School, Jonesboro, AR, 24 March 1998.)
  • Provided training for regional counselors and mental health practitioners prior to counseling, 24 March 1998.
  • Provided precounseling "in-brief" to Westside Middle School teachers, 25 March 1998.
  • Provided informational briefing and crisis intervention instruction to Jonesboro community on regional TV, noon news show, 25 March 1998.
